I just got mine from CB along with my Gringo III package and a Don Diego sampler.

I have to say the CB is the best find I have made in years for getting great deals on cigars and accessories.

Most notable of my purchases is this cute little Don Salvatore travel humidor. I needed to get myself something like this at a low price, but this thing is GREAT! The quality of the little box is excellent with a piano hinge no less! The analog hygrometer included in the package was actually calibrated out of the box!

No lie! I put it in my Salt/Baggie and the thing is reading 75% on the nose! I have not owned an analog hygro large or small that didn't require an adjustment out of the box.

Just wanted to offer my opinion to anyone out there who has maybe seen these little guys up for auction, but was unsure about their quality.

I am more jazzed about this little $10.00 purchase than many of the more expensive things I have gotten recently! ;o)

And just a few days ago you were wondering if this site had any bargains.LOL Looks like you are putting in your bids. 10 bucks sounds like a good deal for the humidor and a working hydrometer! BTW I hear some folks pay $20 or more for one of the digital types cause they don't trust the analog ones.LOL

Yep! I am pleased with my BOOTY so far!

Given, the bulk of my wins have been lesser known brands that I consider SLEEPERS (not on the radar screens of most of the newbie cigar smokers), but all and all, I am very pleased with the deals I am getting.

As for the hygrometers, I still prefer to have a good digital handy for checking on my various stashes since they are very fast at getting a reading and are not prone to jumps in needle readings due to bumps to their cases. ;o) The analogs look pretty, but when it comes to accruate readings in a pinch, I still turn to my 20 dollar digital special! ;o)

Stole my thunder GYO. The deals are there! If you like that humi, try one of the Otterboxes. I've aquired the 3400, and the 5000. Both are excellent!

I got one of those with my Gringo III package that also showed up today.

Pretty cool little box for sure! I might get myself one of the bigger ones as well. They seem very well made and rugged as heck!

I snagged one of the Don Salvatore boxes for $13 and I agree.. it's great! Very well made and a deal. I needed a small humidor for my desk and it has exceeded my expectations. The hygro was perfect right out of the box. I'll be going for an otter box soon to take kayaking. Very cool.

Cool! Glad you got one too!

The little hygro is faster acting and accuate than some of the gauges in my full sized humidors! In fact, I installed the Don Salvatore hygro into one of my 150 cigar boxes, replacing the craptacular one that came with that box. Too bad they dun't sell those separately!

Then again, it would probably cost as much as we can get the whole package for anyway! ;o)

Hey, is the Otterbox humidified? It looks like it, but it says nothing in the description. I'm giving one a try anyway, but it would sure be nice if these have that capability. Please don't outbid me!

CL, The Otter Box does have a humidifier in it but be careful not to overdue it because the thing is airtight and will soak your smokes. I have the 5 capacity and have retired all my 3 finger cases. Barry
