Marvin had a great actors voice, but he was no singer, and that movie proved it. fun, tho. Cat Balou was his movie, I think.

I actually bought that movie and watched it with my 15 year old daughter just a couple of weeks ago. We're into quirky movies I guess. We had seen Moulin Rouge earlier this year and somehow I remembered this old Clint Eastwood flick and told her about it. We watched it together and laughed our heads off. It's a great movie

you're right, Lee Marvin wasn't a singer, but then neither was Clint Eastwood ... in an odd sorta way, I thought that was part of what made this picture ... the success of any movie depends on the suspension of belief, and musicals even more so ... it would have been just a bit TOO unbelievable for a bunch of hard-rock gold miners to be singing like Robert Goulet ...

I missed it on TV last night, but own the video ... anyone who hasn't seen it really should ... it's a very lively, fun story with a unique twist ... bring your wives and come on by the house next week after MrsS gets back, we'll break out some 'gars, sip a beverage and watch that movie on my big-screen ...

I find "The Wild Bunch" to be a better family picture.

X, we are in complete agreement on Once Upon A Time In America, one of the great Mafia flicks of all time.

I like these movie threads. While I am at it, I really liked Kevin Costner's Water World that was so universally panned by the velvet slippered film critics. That was one hot chick with the wet shirt on, too.

But not as hot as Jacqueline Bisset in that wet t-shirt. What was that, Boy on a Dolphin? Maybe that was Sophia. She was hot too.

Great family flicks, all. BWAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAA

My favorite gangster flick is "Miller's Crossing". Have any of you seen that?
