Friday: Fittipaldi torpedo. They rolled the head way to tight on this one. My hernia almost popped. Might have been ok elsewise.

Saturday: Leon Jimenez toro. Like breathing through a garden hose. Good volume of smoke, great construction otherwise and a good cigar, but a bit too mild for my personal taste.

Sunday: Puros Indios toro maduro. Perfect draw. The WD40 really came out as I smoked this one. Dark and shiny, straight brun, volumes of real cigar aroma smoke. Smooth, medium strength. For me it is not necessary for cigars to get any better than this and none often do. The last third was finished this morning after breakfast on the patio and was my 2nd favorite cigar of the week. Massively underestimated, IMHMFO.

If anyone reads this, you might be asking yourself "What the hell is a straight brun?!!!"
Sorry, I don't know what a straight brun is either.

I love a straight brun. ERDM robusto larga with tons of 10-W30 on it last night did it for me.

I have an offer in my email that might help you with cigar #1. It looks like a device that a cigar would fit in. You just squeeze the bulb a few times and it looks like "real cigar aroma smoke" would come pouring out. There is a motorized version that costs more.

Mean - I had the same thing yesterday, I LOVE that cigar, very complex and robust!! Had mine with a tripple shot latte though, couldn't handle alcohol at noon on Sunday...

Exactly, Mean!! ... I agree about the Larga, but generally prefer them a bit more full-bodied, so I saturate 'em with 10W40 ... talk about oily goodness!!!

I'm a Purios Indios fan, and don't see the maduro available too many places, but it sounds like it's time to give 'em a try.

I was out bid pretty quick on the current lot of the 5pk of the PI Reserva Maxima. Anyone try these?

Yeah Danno, I've tried one so far. My lips got numb too fast on these. Lasted well over an hour with a nice even spice, not overpowering.

Most of the PI's I've had have tasted green to me.I think I still have a few with some age on them now,I'll have to give them another try I guess.
