Thank you, but they aren't actually intended to be dodges. I try to be precise in my words, and it's much easier with writing to do so. I assume that if someone typed something, that is specifically what they meant.

It isn't intended to be sly or roundabout. I state exactly what I mean. If you say "Oh, I still agree with the idea of basing theories on repeatable experiments and observations" then you don't fit in the group of people I call dumb. Very simple.

I'm not screwing around. We type this crap on a computer with an edit capability. I have to assume that when you type something, you are stating specifically what you mean. Why would you even call it "questioning science" when what you are now claiming to mean is "questioning specific theories using scientific methods and evidence"? These are two very different statements. I think you can understand the confusion there.

... you do realize that sick F3cks can do great scientific work, right? That's no reason to not trust their outcomes. And as for scientists actively lying... when the scientific method is applied, these lies eventually are discovered as their work is found to not be reproducible. There's no reason to specifically have a distrust of "science". That's like saying "I don't put my money in banks, because a couple bankers embezzled."
