Hi, first time to post and no, steve, I am not sending anyone cigars (jk). Now that that is out of the way... I don't know if it is rude to ask this question on a forum hosted by cigarbid or not, but I was wondering if any of you have any suggestions as to where else I can find a good cigar purchasing website, it can be an auction site or any other type. In lieu of sending cigars I will just post my current (and very temporary) top five cigars as qualifications:
1. CAO Brazilia Samba (probably rated a bit high by me but I was pleasantly surprised)
2. AF Hemingway Short Story
3. Punch Rare Corojo
4. Ashton VSG (could only afford one unfortunately)
5. Montecristo pyramide

Thanks in advance for all the help

Being a retailer themselves, I must agree with CBids policy of forbidding the mention of competing web sites on their forums.

At the same time I can assure you that in the 6 years I have been buying cigars online, I have yet to discover a web site that provides as good a deals on smokes as this one.

I mean, come on! Who else is going to let you guys products below wholesale on a regualr basis?

One little hint...There are a lot of brands out there just as good as the ones you mentioned that the average joe smoker doesn't know about!

Hunt them down and give them a bid! You will find some great values that most people will never compete with you for!

Discussing other sites here is verboten, unless you like getting flamed. You should post your email address so people can send you the info instead of posting it.

Also, all newbies must post a picture of themselves wearing a poodle skirt in the picture post forum.

Tyler, Tyler, Tyler ... what do you mean you're not sending cigars??? ALL the new guys do! We can see you have pretty good judgement in the brands you like and I am sure that once we've received our 'welcome' cigar from you, you will be as welcome as all the others are ... (speaking for myself, I had one of those CAO Brazilians just the other day ... great cigar ... make mine one of those, would you?)

gotta be that way when you're in sales, Coug ... know what I mean? I get up every day to go out and kiss a bunch of frogs hoping to find the one that'll turn into a princess ...

oh, and Tyler'll see the error of his ways soon enough ... he'll come around ... as you know, eventually they all do

Good spoonerism, Rick. lol. Difference between a girls track team and a tribe of pygmy headhunters?

The pygmies are a bunch of cunning runts.

jreddoch - not righteousness, just right. All I do is remind new folks here of the rules of this forum ... with full support of Keith Meier and Gonz.

And since others here already did it ... I didn't see the need.

Slim, I agree that you're right, if a bit sanctimonious about it. That's why I didn't post anything on the BB.

MHollowa, Good point, the site name without the s is bad. It is some sort of adult chat area. The dang thing put some sort of dialer on my computer that popped up a very bad picture when it rebooted. (My wife was setting the computer up for the 3 year old) Now she watches over my shoulder, She doesn't believe the "I misspelled a word story" I was wonderin if anyone else had this problem.

haven't ever gone to CI without the 's', so I haven't had THAT problem, but I sure have had the wife become concerned and want to watch over my shoulder as a result of some crazy a** thing or another popping up ... I have no particular solution to offer you, just know others share your pain ... I read the other day where aggressive advertising via pop-ups has muliplied several thousand-fold over the past couple of years ... no doubt we have plenty of other guys to keep us company. Maybe someone else here can be of greater help.
