I think the ting to take away from all of this is that she didn't have a PhD, and no one noticed until now. Which says a lot about how cheap, and near-worthless PhDs are these days.
But Victor will chime in and tell us all that a PhD doesn't matter anyways...because only PhDs that he approves of are valid.
And, by the way, it'd be nice to know how an entity like "The Institute for the Study of War" is funded. I sure as hell would never cut a check for a fly-by-night "analysis" outfit that really doesn't produce anything of value. You want to know about the Syrian rebels? Here's a thumbnail sketch: if they get into power, they'll bite the hand that feeds them (assuming that the US is the hand that feeds them), just like the 99.999999999999% of rebel groups we've funded in the past have come back to bite us.
And it didn't cost WSJ one frickin' red cent.
