Let's see over 8 million Americans that were on unemployment did not find ajob and exhausted thier checks just quit looking. Hence they drop out of the real numbers, they are no longer counted As unemployed. This makes the numbers fictionally drop, an illusion that the Dems and Prez seize upon to tout they are doing a good job.
Also, I see the new numbers on these so called jobs created. They show that 80 percent of these are part time. This just shows the economy is awful...
Why you say are most of these part time....
Let's see employers with over 50 employees will be required to carry healthcare insurance, the price of which continues to go up, on all employees. UNLESS, these employees work under 30 hours..... Hmmm, pay through the nose for insurance the business can't afford, pay the fines for not carrying the insurance ( these are thousands less than the insurance itself)(more on this later), cut them to part time(and NOT pay the fines), or pay the insurance but lay off people in order to make ends meet (more unemployed).
The employers are posotioning themselves for this thus, MORE part-timers.
If the employer pays the fines, this pushes these workers ( who had insurance with employer before) into the exchanges because these workers are now required (by obamacare) to have insurance. Whoops, now they have another EXTREMELY large bill they never had to budget for in the past. Since 80- 90% of American live paycheck to paycheck they will not be able to afford the insurance. They will look at the options, unaffordable healthcare or pay the fine ( which is thousands less that the insurance), any good budget minded household will have to pay the fine. Now the workings class person (family of 4) has paid close to $2400 (600 per person) for the privilege of NOT having insurance.
BUT hey, all those who now don't have insurance will have insurance (paid for by the taxpayers) but those that pay the taxes will have none AND they paid for this privilege.
Hmmmmm? Just thinking out loud......
Redistribution of healthcare?
