Elaborate. Because what you just described is about as open-ended as it gets.

Sure, right after the Senate votes on all the funds bills the House has already passed.

I do believe that if the house and senate agreed to a bill that gave Obama everything he wants, he would sign. It.

Wait. I thought the addendum issue was just Obamacare. You mean there is more now?

Um, transparency. Is that contextually obvious?

He should demand an additional 3 trillion dollars in debt ceiling.

A knot and a razor analogy is too simple for most. You need to make the issue more complex and stop dumbing things down. Sarcasm

Just pray interest rates stay where they are and our debt service will stay at 28% of taxes collected. The average interest paid on the US debt in September was about 1.1%.

However, should they rise to January 2000 rates, then without an increase in the debt limit, debt service rises to about 80% of taxes collected.

If interest rates rise, the USA becomes Greece with tires burning in the streets. Loss of lender confidence brings immediate austerity.

All empires eventually come to end either through debt, wars, or both. We've dropped the ball on wars with Syria and Iran and need to get back in gear.

We won't live long enough to know for sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if we peaked several decades ago.

"Opening up government," is like saying "I'd like some protein."

You want a cow, a chicken, horse, or some peanuts. You want peanut encrusted steak, or a chicken taco? it has nothing to do with "transparency."

"Opening up government?" All of it? Some of it? Everything but Obamacare? The Military only? The parks services?

And yeah, I'm sure it might pass...to the detriment of us all...

Imagine if a Democratic congress threatened to crash the global economy, unless they got gun checks or immigration reform.

Why you trying to fit me in some kind of box?!

If I'm a Democrat, I think trillions of dollars in Obama debt is great and we desperately need more. Bush debt, however, was just awful.

If I'm a Republican, I think trillions of dollars in Bush debt was fantastic but the second Obama took office, trillions of dollars in additional debt has been just awful and needs to be stopped immediately. (Trillions of dollars in Romney debt would have been fantastic)

All I know is that something has to be done PRONTO to prevent the imminent Great Depression II and I honestly don't know what it is. XFinity doesn't know either.
I'm sure some college kid economist has all the answers though.
