Rick you hit it on the head. What a relief they're all out and safe. Events like this bring back memories of my three tours of duty in Viet Nam. 'WE ALL COME OUT TOGETHER"! Leave no one behind! I lost a lot of brothers over there, two in my arms. Thank God the miners are all safe and their families can rest easy. I'm going to have one for the miners. Brothers, let's not forget how good we have it here in America. Stick together in everthing we do. We get petty when we pay too much for cigars. That's human nature. Be proud of what we really are " A M E R I C A N S ". We'll be there for each other when needed! Fire one up for the miners and one for living in the U.S.A.!

Always good to see a 'Nam vet that is still kicking and believes in the American way. What unit did you serve in? I spent 4 years in the infantry and the one unspoken rule was that your squad/platoon/company was your family.

While it was gutwrenching imagining what those miners went thru in that hole; it did my heart good to see all their fellow miners/rescuers working feverishly to save them. Anybody that wants to learn more about our history of mining in PA should look up the Molly Maguires story. One of the first instances of workers standing up for their rights. VERY interesting. Singing off now after posting too many times.

OPUS X thank you.

i was going to smoke it when the lakers won, but it seemed almost insulting to the cigar.

i was holding it and fondling it (the opus x) when the first miner was out and light it when the las guy was free.
