Yes another FNG here, I have been a C-bid voyeur for about a year or more and a part time cigar smoker for at least 10+ years. I have read many reviews of cigars and until recently believed they were totally Bullsh*t. Well after picking up a Padron 1964 Anniversary I must admit to enjoying the faint but distinctive leather aftertaste of one hell of a good cigar. The whole experience of this fine cigar took be back in time when I was a just kid playing baseball, standing in the outfield chewing on the leather straps of my glove without a care in the world. Anyway, I just wanted to share my little cigar moment with you guy's. P.S. Are any of you guy's from the Knoxville Tn area?

not from the knoxville area, but that is one helluva cigar anywhere. i had one last weekend and was absolutely blown away by how much i enjoyed it. i shared it with a friend who is not much of a cigar smoker and it was, to sum it up, the best cigar each of us had ever smoked.BAR NONE

Welcome QCSup. I'm on my third box of Padron Anniversarios, and I can say that every one has been excellent. Try the maduros, better than the nats, IMHO.

C-Cup, the C-Bid Voyeur: have you been peeking at naked cigars again?

Supe, I think the best thing for you to do is to send each of us one of those Padrons, then slip back into voyeur mode and watch us smoke 'em ... it'll be a great experience that will endear you to one and all here and of course it will be evocative of another bit of ball-playing nostalgia ... watching from the bench.

I wouldn't be so fast to fire up the webcam, Steve...however, if someone would like to fire one this way, I'd happily dance naked on my cam while puffing on said smoke. Hmmmmm, somehow I'm doubting this will get me many takers.

I didn't mention dancing naked at all ... I suggested to Supe that to he could combine another nostalgiac trip down memory lane with sending out the required 'welcome me, the newbie' cigars ... hell, I don't care if he watches me smoke it, but no one wants to watch me dance naked ... LOL

I am 80 miles north of Knoxville (A.K.A. Rocky Top) and although I do not share your eating habits of a basesball glove lunch I do share your passion for the Padron 1964. Great Smoke.

Welcome QCSup. Didn't anyone tell you that the Padron Anniv. line has been recalled. They will make you sick and your lips fall off. You can send them to me and I will dispose of them properly (he,he).
They are by far my favorite cigar but unlike Danno, I can't seem to be able to afford a whole box so I smoke the regular line and save the Annies for special moments (I think I feel one coming on) Barry
