This guy is boldface lying to congress, still trying to sell the video BS, and standing behind striking any muslim extremism references in regard to Al Queda as not having been his doing. Why isn't Obama being forced to testify?

He should be in jail. Right next to Hitlary & Susan Rice. And what we should be seeing from congress is an impeachment - pick your grounds, there are so many items worthy of it, but Benghazi is certainly worthy.

They covered up an outright refusal to aid dying soldiers and diplomats during an active invasion on US soil. Then issued stand-down orders to units trying to help. That's treason, pure and simple. Now congress refuses to hold them responsible, dragging their feet through an "investigation" because they won't impeach the president. Why?

Congress holds hearings, knows they're being lied to, then they send a rooster out to the microphone to utter some strongly worded sentances. Shows over. At this point, they're all guilty. Every one of 'em.

The sad truth is that none of us really knows all of the facts and no politician will ever let the american public know all of the facts. Both political parties will never give the public all of the facts. That would be seeing behind the curtain in OZ. We can spit and shout all we want about it but it is not going to change... ever. None of them are ever going to be brought up on treason of any kind even if they did commit it. Never, ever, ever going to change.

As long as we never stop reminding them we know what they did they will never be free of the guilt.. This is the least we can can do in memory of those who bravley gave all to do their duty for the benefit of us all , even those who betrayed them,,..

I don't believe that most career politicians are capable of feeling guilt.

Well i am amognst them all the time and can tell you you are wrong. Most actually do give a damn a the start but it becomes obscured as you depend on the only dependables in politics, ( Causes and Corporations that offer you financial support to get re-elected ),.. This really is just as much to blame on the appothetic electorate as it is to blame on the politicians. .. Most Elected people wish they could tell the money people to go stuff it and depend on the overwhelming support of the people but it doesn't happen because the people are wrapped up in their own world an don't care unless it starts to affect them so they complain and moan but don't do anything about it.
I would also say even in my small capacity i have to make heart renching decisions that will make someone happy and some people mad on a weekly basis. You cannot make everyone happy all the time because all people differ on some things.
I will also say that the thing that keeps me at the local political level is because i never wanted to be bought by any one or any corporation. However our Budget is always balanced and our taxes are always low because it is possible to do this with intteligent thoughtful planning and guidance and the abilty to absorb the critisisms of the people who want you to cater to their special intrest..

Jack

I do believe that most of our politicians initially go into government service with the best of intentions. I did say "career politicians" which I view as always being more concerned with getting re-elected than actually solving any of our problems. I'm cynical, but not that cynical. Gonz

Aye, there's the rub. Politicians were not supposed to make careers out of getting re-elected, and did not when our nation was formed. And sadly, the thought never crossed the minds of those who truly served the public back then. Unfortunately, that was also the last time term limits had a snowballs chance of being implemented...

B K ,, It's nice to know i am not alone in the feeling that it was meant to be another way of serving your country and that when you were done you happily returned home. If they cut the pay of congress etc 75% we would have a way better government..

Congressional pay could be cut to zero and it wouldn't matter other than to the far and in between few that actually need money or don't have a line on a pay out when they are done.
