Hey all - I'm back - in California now - at Camp Pendleton - what have I missed? Is RICKAMAVEN still around?

1. Slim and e-chick debated Freud's assertion that a cigar is sometimes only a cigar. E-chick took the position (so to speak) that "assertion" was a euphemism for "insertion." Our hearts raced as she stepped out of her Freudian slip. Slim wore a raincoat until the thread petered out. So to speak.

2. Informative Lone Wolf versus Opus X discussion

3. A great new cello on/off thread

4. 14 Double posts were attributed to hiccups

5. 37 political/sports/trade posts were posted to the cigar forum. Fortunately, Slim caught all of them.

6. Several new members thoughtfully pointed out that there may be some overbidding going on from time to time

7. Everyone but you kicked in for the ransom for Rick's return. I think we can all agree that since you are out there fighting for truth and freedom you do not have to pay us back in hard currency. Just send cigars. Good ones. Soon.

Damn - I always miss out on the good sh*t .... only here at Pendleton for another 3 weeks though - then back to the East coast via a stop in Sin City ... sure glad I brought two boxes of Perdomos with me - can't see how these folks in California can afford cigars ... or at least decent ones.
