I sat on stage 3 or 4 rows behind GWB for an entire televised town hall meeting. My ugly mug was just over his left shoulder the entire time. Funny how scripted town hall meetings are and how creepy the dude really is.... some one really ought to help him with that wink/tic thing.

I saw him give a speech here locally it was very good and articulate. I was surprised by the lack of security. I would not go to a Soetoro speech.

Security was insane at the scripted insincere townhall meeting (medicare part D and the worthless drug discount card held up as a miracle....what a joke). every one was vetted and it was way beyond tsa. winky mcflight suit was bizzaro....he must have winked 50-100 times and did a weird pointy thing ala Joe Biden.... my boss and a beneficiary rode with him i nthe limo. In fairness he was very kind to the beneficiary and treated her well.



Then there was the red dress (cancer) event for Mrs. Bush where everyone had to be vetted and they released the entire list including social security numbers for the world to see.... oops

I had to shuttle several of the white house staffers from the airport or their hotels to the events. I've never listened to so much fox news on sat radio in my life LOL

The speech here was at our county expo (where the fair is held) most including me were wearing boots. When my brother and I got to security I realized I was wesring my STEEL TOED boots. I told security and they didn't even have me take them off! Our seat was close (I could have hit him with my boot) and we could NOT see any snipers ANYWHERE above. My grandma was a longtime fair planner, I know the layout VERY well. The secret service was very identifiable.

weird. night and day difference. makes you wonder if they had something else in place.


we (everyone) were prescreened, sent through two detectors, patted down etc. Most the crowd was medicare beneficiaries and the line to get in took hours in the heat.

It was indoors. In this instance it was a made for live tv "town hall" that more resembled an infomercial.

First Bush waved at me from his limo window in NYC when we were walking back to hotel late one night. Must have been in town for a fund raiser.
Couple motorcycle cops, three limos caught our attention, there was George, leaned forward and waved at us.
