I wouldn't waste your time. Pretty much a novelty. There's an old thread here if you feel like digging it up. Not much traction for if I recall correctly.

The Shuriken cutter is pretty good if you're someone who chomps his cigar and holds in his mouth. The blades keep the top of the cigar on while putting slits in the sides. It keeps the tobacco at the very tip from getting in your mouth. Since I'm not a chomper and put my cigar down when I'm not smoking it, I didn't care for it. You have to put a fair amount of the cigar in your mouth to get where the slits are. You also have to be careful about the way you remove the cigar. If you twist it, you can take the blades out of the cutter itself.

My husband's buddy loves it. We gave him ours because neither of us liked it. He has several for his truck, his work truck, his man-cave, etc. Go figure.

I re-circumcised myself with it.

The ladies just love the added ridges.

^^^This is NOT an approved use of the Shuriken Cutter.

However, should you use it for this purpose, make sure you don't twist the cutter as the blades will get stuck in the um....item ...inserted.

bought one last year, works ok but if you're buying it to keep the cap intact, i would suggest a nice v-cutter, the shuriken sometimes rips the leaf if you force the cut. if you get good at it, it does work fine.Herfing

I bought one. I hate it. Ruins the cap, also

worthless on torpedoes.

No need to stick a finger inside to test the blade sharpness. Please, don't do that. Yes, they are sharp. Very sharp. Not that I am admitting anything here. Oh no.

That.doesn't mean you should. I'll probably.look into a palio or the xi8. I mostly use the.cheapo guillotine cutters, but they wear out fast.and end up making a mess.
