Smoke and compare a lighter shaded PSD4 and darker shaded PSD4 from the same month/year -- or as close as possible and you might be in a little better position to assess. Or not......you may have already refined your opinion well enough to seek out the lighter shaded ones. It isn't hard to do with some vendors once you've established a relationship. What was it about the lighter colored one that you liked better?
You are right in what you say, I did however smoke the lighter and darker that actually were in the same 10 pack. Basically, the lighter wrapper was more creamier and nuttier, which is what I like, and the dark wrapper was harsher and obviously not so creamy and nutty .... just my assessment, but I am not the cigar afficionado that some of you seasoned BOTLS are...thanks for your input
