WHY do I check for new messages here when I know what they will be about? I'll bet Gonz & Keith & the others are worried their board is about to go down in flames! And you wonder why Wany doesn't spend much time here anymore. Regardless of which side I agree with (I'm somewhat quiet on the issue but I think it's known where I reside), I believe it's time to move along. We need to incorporate an "unwritten rule" here similar to what goes on at CW - if you have a personal beef, then exchange e-mails and go at it personally, then come back ready to resume business as usual. Some say "Just ignore that stuff"; well, if I want to be a regular visitor here, I can't "ignore that stuff" when I want to see what's up lately, especially when I see a thread entitled "Just back from Cuba" that appears to be a subject I might want to read about. Although not pertinent to the thread title, CJBully had the best post: "Whatthehellisgoingon?"
I'm not asking for censorship here, and I'm not proclaiming which side I'm on. But I am asking for a little common decency here. This is a cigar website and a cigar bulletin board. This is a place where cigar smokers come to chat, just like my local cigar room. Anyone is free to come in to my cigar room to discuss anything, but I'm here because I like cigars. And in my cigar room, I expect others here to treat each other with some respect. I hope that goal isn't out of reach. When I'm in my cigar room I don't want to sit among friends and hear two go on and on to no end about their spat. I say "Take it outside, then shake hands, come back in, and fire up a premium with the rest of us." Either that or you can just fire up this BB.
