I recently won a some La Perla Habana Perfecto Maduros but haven't yet given them a try. Have any of ya'll smoked these little beauties? What did you think of 'em and how much aging would you recommend? The box and bands look great!

I have a box of the Maduro torpedoes, and haven't tried one yet either as they have been aging for 5 months now, but I agree, they are some of the best looking cigars I have seen, these were certainly made by an expert, each torpedo looks like the next, and I can't underestimate how well made these are.

Thanks for the feedback Aberdeen. It's always good to hear from you. I'm putting these away in my coolerador and will let them age a while ( if I can be patient enough ).

These cigars are wonderful !!! There is however a slight downside, that I will attempt to explain. There seems to be a flavor, (almost ammonia) that I’ve noticed in more than one cigar. My assumption is that although these cigars have the tastiest wrappers ever, the filler leaves room for improvement. Could age help? Maybe. My feeling is that these are the best made (cosmetically these are as close to perfect as you can get) cigars you will ever see and the taste, although hitting on only 7 of 8 cylinders, is more than enjoyable.
