I don't have to love her spirit.

What she did was rude. If there are people of any religion peacefully gathering, why would you do that?

Let me ask you this: If you were at a Christian rally and a muslim came and did that, would you be pissed off? Damn right you would. The Christian ethos demands that we treat others as we wish to be treated.

Jesus, I sound like Victor... but in this instance, he'd be correct.

I guess we'll just have to disagree on this sorry, and I'm not aware of ANY Christian believers who are currently or condone killing those who don't believe their brand of religion. This fake religion on the other hand have been killing non believers for centuries. And yes I'm fully aware of the Crusades however I'm not aware of ANY Killings in this century, this religion has never stopped. I guess you like many believe we're exempt from having what's currently going on in Europe take place here....it will and it's but a matter of time. But you go ahead and embrace it. Beer

I don't 'embrace' it. I do believe that freedom of religion is one of the principles this country was founded on, though.

But you didn't answer my question... would you want a muslim to do that at a Christian rally? Are you one of those Christians that claims to be a Christian, but only acts like one when you feel like it?

Luke 6:31 - Do to others as you would have them do to you.

Matthew 7:12 - So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.

I don't disagree that muslim extremists do atrocious things. I also don't agree with the premise of their entire religion, but I have defended their right to practice it.

FWIW, I think she was extremely rude.

I don't think for a minute the average everyday Muslim believes their religion command them to kill others. If I'm wrong, please enlighten me.

The Hutu's are predominately of Christian faith. In 1994 they slaughtered upwards of 1,000,000 in Rwanda.

That would certainly piss me off. My response to that would be this: We allow you to practice your religion freely in our country. You have to respect our freedoms as well. If you can't... you are free to leave.

More on separation of State and Religion.....oh and giving BOTH sides an opportunity to add to the conversation.

So Macs /Abr....do you think this teacher and or school corporation would / will allow equal access to their fellow students and classroom to push THEIR brand of religion or religious dress or is this just another politically correct attempt @ embracing Islam and will these good outspoken Muslim children don a Cross on " christian awareness day " ? There IS a serious double standard being perpetrated on this matter in our country and IF I were a parent who had kids in this school the SWHTF!!!!!

Public schools shouldn't be involved in any religious activities, IMO. But if you're against them doing any muslim activities are you against any Christian activities, too?

From the title I'm guessing some school celebrated hijab wearing. To answer your question I say what's good for the goose is good for the gander.

NO.....they shouldn't be and yet there they are giving space to ONE while censoring others. The ACLU and the Muslim in the WH are making sure of that. One would have to be blind to not recognize what's happening in our Christian belief based country. And NO I'm not against allowing one while censoring the other who uses violence to keep their worshipers in line!!! I don't know about there but I clearly remember our children's Christmas Specials being censored from ANY mention of GOD or JESUS because some other group complained. Like I said, you go ahead and embrace it.....I will take a pass.

there are more than two religions in this country. pretty sure mine is not one of those being promoted in public school and that's how it should be.

now all of ya, get off my lawn, and out of my schools (I can live with your religious symbols draped all over my town on public property cuz I'm used to it but shouldn't be paying for it)...unless teaching courses about many religions, like many cultures, like many countries, is part of the curriculum. Learning is important, and different than being recruited.

don't fear learning.

I NEVER said I don't support their right to their beliefs....but they DO NOT have the right to take it into our schools and force others to " try on " a piece of their religious garb.
