SO, you want to vote for Hillary?

1) The Clinton Foundation, which took in millions of dollars from foreign governments, while Hillary was Secretary of State, did not disclose this tasty little tidbit on its tax filings.
2) Years ago when Bill was in office, Hillary (who was a novice investor) made $100,000 on cattle futures which is a highly volatile market. Even "experts" often lose their shirts investing in futures. Beginners luck?)
3) Once again while she was Secretary of State, a Canadian company donated $2.3 million to "the foundation" while seeking the State Department's approval for a Russian takeover. And, of course, this embarrassing donation was not thought worthy of public disclosure (I could use stronger terms but there is no evidence that either of the Clintons were aware of the situation. That doesn't mean they weren't, by the way.)
4) The acting head of the foundation said that these omissions were "mistakes" and weren't intentional. However, the foundation seemed to be well aware of how to handle such donations because, before she was named Secretary of State, and during the time she served as Secretary of State, they reported tens of millions of dollars of such donations. Then, after she resigned, "silence." Anyone see a pattern here?

Hillary seems to have a penchant for secrecy so, I have some questions:

1) Assuming she is nominated to become our next President, will she (and her foundation) swear not to accept donations from foreign sources?
2) Or, if she/they do, will they make them public?
3) And if they/she does make such a promise, should we believe her/them?
4) Finally, how would Hillary deal with potential conflicts of interest should she be elected President?

Answers:
1) The Clintons have stated the foundation will continue to accept donations from foreign governments, but Hilldog has resigned from the Board of Directors.
2) The Clintons have stated the foundation will release reports quarterly instead of once a year. History has proven they do not disclose all donors though.
3) Hell NO!!! The Clinton's have proven you can't believe a word that comes out either of their mouths
4) Hilldog should be in jail for her "conflicts of interest" and other mistakes instead of running for POTUS! That's how it should be dealt with!

I think she will be a great Democratic candidate! As she will give Republicans their best chance of winning. IMHO.

"What? Me worry?" - Alfred E. Neuman

Don't worry because at the end of the day we will have to choose between a chit sandwich or a turd burger. BARF!

It's pretty much the only candidates that both parties nominate these days. fog ram27bat horse

I think all the negativity about the foundation is rather stupid. Who cares where the money comes from if it's doing good things and I don't see where it's buying influence like the Koch Brothers do.

Reports have surfaced that approx only 6% of the monies donated actually go to a charitable cause.

"Washington Free Beacon’s Liz Harrington weighed in saying, “The numbers just don’t add up. One of the biggest offenses of the Clinton Foundation came out yesterday — 88 percent of the their expenditures go directly to their charitable programs. That is just simply not true. As you mentioned, they raked in $140 million. They only spent nine million on direct aid. Most of their money goes towards salaries, bonuses, to close friends, folks tied to the Clinton campaign.

Willis read the $140 million 2013 spending breakdown from the New York Post, saying, “Here is a list of foundation spending—where the money goes: $30 million on payroll expenses, $9.2 to conferences and meetings, fundraising — $8 million. Nearly $8.5 million on travel.”

Don't know where the "reports have surfaced" from (maybe Faux news). At any rate most charities are a waste of money. Ask them for an audited list of the top ten paid employees and you will never hear from 98% of them again. How was the Red Cross numbers under Elizabeth Dole ?

Yes, Tony. Who cares?
Who cares that Hillary abuses power and lies about it?
She's corrupt and despite her intelligence and penchant for padding her pockets, her failure as Secretary of state should not be overlooked.

I would feel more comfortable if Hillary and the Clinton Foundation posted their fee structure. Otherwise every bribe is a negotiation.

The premise of the OP is wrong. I don't want to vote for her. The only thing that could get me to vote for her is a Ted Cruz nominaiton. I'd vote for Satan over him because I find Satan more sincere and less damaging. So I guess in the grand scheme of things Hilldog=Satan Satan>Cruz take off eh

There are a number of current investigations including those from nonprofit "watchdog" groups.

Basically the CGI has become the Clinton's own personal slush fund. It's helped them secure rare gold mining rights in Haiti, and plutonium deals with Russia for friends and relatives (donors).

Hillary has fees for speaking engagements paid to the non-profit Foundation (giving the appearance of doing it for free) only to be highly compensated by the Foundation.

Nice racket.

Just like a liberal to deflect the issue to some other time / place / person / group, heaven forbid any admission guilt.
And where do you get your news from...... NBC ? CNN ? MSNBC? Fox may not be perfect in their reporting but @ least they report MOST EVERYTHING, versus picking and choosing what to cover based on their PERSONAL BELIEF SYSTEM which is no doubt what your preferred news outlet does. Whistle

Agree, although they at least make an effort to call out lying politicians. Selectively, but at least they call out some of them.

They also tend to say one thing while showing a polar opposite view on the screen. Like bitching about the Hildebeast while showing flattering? clips of her from 20 years ago while doing it.

I used to trust Fox, I no longer do.

They are partly Arab-owned, BTW.

Hillary's Quote of the Year......

When asked of her accomplishments as Sec. of State, Hillary replied:

“My accomplishments as Secretary of State? Well, I'm glad you asked! My proudest accomplishment in which I take the most pride, mostly because of the opposition it faced early on, you know… the remnants of prior situations and mindsets that were too narrowly focused in a manner whereby they may have overlooked the bigger picture and we didn’t do that and I’m proud of that. Very proud. I would say that’s a major accomplishment.”

- Hillary Clinton 11 March 2014

Could someone please tell me what she just said? And she is really running for President?
