This is something that pisses me off about the irritating "do gooders". People love to support a food bank, or a shelter, or some bs like that. But they don't want those institutions in their neighborhood, because that gives these locusts a reason to come there. Pisses me off when people from out by presidio or sunset come in to the tenderloin to volunteer at soup kitchens or bring a stack of 20 pizzas to a park they sleep in and BS like that.
They congregate where they are fed and housed. Feeding and housing them in a neighborhood away from where you live is the same NIMBY crap everyone pulls, it's just cloaked in some do gooder crap.
