It is my understanding that the Clintons were married by a Methodist minister. Though I was not invited to the ceremony, I suspect that a traditional set of marriage vows was used. The Methodist marriage vows frequently include the phrase "forsaking all others", which implies not cheating on your wife with an intern in the oval office. Even if the traditional vows were not used, I suspect that something along the lines of not cheating on your spouse was included in the vows.
Bill Clinton stood before family, friends, soon to be wife, minister, and God and declared to all that he would be faithful to his wife, and then years later "did not have sex" with an intern in the oval office. Sounds pretty hypocritical to me.
As for Hillary, back in 2004 she took to the floor of the senate and declared "I believe marriage is not just a bond but a
sacred bond between a man and a woman. I have had occasion in my life to defend marriage, to stand up for marriage, to believe in the hard work and challenge of marriage. So I take umbrage at anyone who might suggest that those of us who worry about amending the Constitution
are less committed to the sanctity of marriage, or to the fundamental bedrock principle that it exists between a man and a woman, going back into the midst of history as one of the founding, foundational institutions of history and humanity and civilization, and that its primary, principal role during those millennia has been the raising and socializing of children for the society into which they are to become adults." Of course, Hillary changing position isn't hypocrisy, but simply changing her mind to secure the necessary votes veeded to get elected.
This is a fairly good overview of her evolving position, http://www.nytimes.com/politics/first-draft/2015/04/16/hillary-clintons-changing-views-on-gay-marriage/
Everybody at some time is hypocritical. Politicians on all sides of the aisle have simply figured out a way of turning it into a career.
