I got my box yesterday, and I gotta admit I was impressed. I figured it would be a wood-working project cigar, and it really surprised me. Hey, I know what most of you are thinking...1st off it's not an Opus X, or anything close. It's a cheap, well constructed smoke. It started pretty mild and went up from there. I kept looking at it shaking my head, and dying laughing for buying a box for 24.95(w/ship.)! I'm really looking forward to sharing these with the neighbors. They've always got some lame-o smoke to pass around. This one is gonna leave them talking about upgrades!

...straight out of the box, the robusto is a stand up smoke. I kept looking for something bad to say and never found it. The wrapper makes this cigar; it's mild, dark and oily. A slight metallic aftertaste disappeared soon. Flor de los Reyes reminds me of cigars with bigger names and bigger prices.

Got my box of Churchills yesterday, smoked my first last night. It's a nice mild smoke with good aroma, not too obtrusive to the non-smoker. The box itself is practically a humidor with a great seal.

I got my three boxes of Churchills a few days ago and smoked one immediately. I just had another one while I was outside watering the garden. I'd have to say I'm pleasantly surprised and glad that I bought 3 boxes. It's a good yard work cigar. I'm sure I'll have a few more this weekend while I'm building my storage shed in the back yard.

I bought a box as well and was very impressed with the first couple I smoked. So much so that I gave a couple to my boss. However, the next one I smoked was the worst dog rocket that I have tried in the last couple of years. It was very rubbery and tasted terrible. The draw was non existant. I immediately called the boss and said don't smoke those. I threw them all in my trashcan today but after reading all of the other posts I decided to dig them out and give them another try. Wish me luck!

Great cigar. I was very pleasantly surprised. I'd prefer a shorter smoke, guess I'm going to have to learn to be more patient --- these'll take quite awhile to smoke. Imagine how difficult my life will be until these are gone?? Great to have problems like these don't ya think. AHHH.

haven't opened mine yet, but am looking forward to it ... I've got an adult son who plays in a 30+ baseball (not softball) league ... I'll be taking one of these to his Sunday afternoon games for a while ... it'll be the perfect size for about half a game ... there's a 50+ division in that league and I've given playing some thought, but I don't think they'll appreciate my smoking while playing ... lol ... they wouldn't cut me much slack for dropping a ball because smoke was in my eyes ... actually, I've tried a couple of these I bought as singles at a store a while back ... I thought it to be a good cigar, particularly when you consider the cost ... if they bring in more here, I'm with you guys ... I'll buy more too.

not happy with the way it was packaged at all!!! looks like they put the cigars in the box before they submerged the whole contents into the shelac!!! the wax paper that surrounded the c-gars was pelleted with sticky shelac residue that was still wet!!! I cannot imagine what these are going to taste like after being stored and shipped in this box!!!

OK, I'm FAR from an expert, but C-bid stated (I believe) that these had about 5 yesrs storage on them... Are you SURE it was Shelac, could be oil from the smokes or sap from the wood. I haven't smoked mine yet, but they smelled pretty dam good to me!

I examined all of the smokes left in the box. I looked at the overall appearance(with the cello still on), and I don't see anything negative to report. I fired up another one about a minute ago, and so far it smokes like the other 2 that I've had. These aren't Opus X's(or my faves Montecristo's) nor are they supposed to be. It's a well priced cigar that hit the mark for my money. If people are that unsatisfied then they should contact customer service. At least try them first.

For the same price i got a much better cigar. And for a 6pack at 5 bucks I am not calling customer service, by bad constrution I mean hard draw and uneven burn. Amen and be happy I am not gonna bid on them, they are all yours!

... I've done in four robustos and found one that smoked poorly. Let's see, that's a 25% premium on a box of 25 I got for $19, or $23.75 for what, straight out of the box, is a stand up smoke.

I think you guy,s mix up the robustos with the churchills, the churchills are samplers and come as six pack ,and not boxes! maybe the robustos are o.k.I dont know.

Cruiser, they did a close-out on a 25 count churchill about 3 weeks ago. I've never had the robustos, but from the comments here I gotta get one or two or three.

...No, I checked and the box definitely says "robusto". No similarity to an H Upmann churchill, which is the only robusto I know that passes as a "churchill".

Don't know what to tell you, but my box is clearly marked churchill. Did you get yours in that close-out deal?

It was a "BLOWOUT" for Churchills... Still haven't tried one yet... Have to finish up my Cubans before heading home... There was something on the wax paper, but again I wonder if it wasn't just the oils from the smokes.

LOL! That's a good one. Get faked with something that's even better than the real thing, and that's cheaper!
