Well, it was a good night, even though not many people showed up at the Vets Hall. We're having an island wide beer shortage due to some barge issue. But, the next barge is already here and hopefully we'll get a couple of pallets of beer and stuff this afternoon. I'll be there at 3pm to help unload.
Last night, well, yesterday afternoon about 2:30, since it was my day off and my birthday :-) , I started off with the Las Calaveras, then the CLE 2012 Corojo, then that Padron. Next I went with a Blanco Nine Toro (I didn't get that one in the photo). The Nine has an Oscuro Corojo wrapper and ligero filler. Very tasty. Then I finished up with that ESG.
Nobody else had a cigar, but the cigarette smokers were on the patio. I had them all just shaking their heads... what with all the "Man.. this is a good cigar!" and "Man, did I mention this cigar is great!" "Anybody else want a cigar?" Heheh...
That was all from about 2:30pm until about 11:00pm. Drank the last of the Kona Longboards and then had a couple of Kirin Ichibans (?) and finished up with a big bottle of Chimay Grande Reserve.
All of these cigars smoked great and tasted great. The CLE wrapper split when I cut it, but it still smoked fine. Probably need to take those out of their box and let them rest naked in a humidor tray.
Back at it tonight.
