it's the only thing that makes sense to me.

I keep reading/hearing that The Donald continues to contribute brazillions of dollahs to Dem campaigns all over the country, then he distracts the GOPs from talking seriously about anything at all...it's a brilliant strategy to keep R-pubes out of the White House.

I kinda think frank is on to something. Trump is definitely not helping the republican party. He's bashing every republican in his path and distracting from viable candidates.

I laughed when he said he was gonna run... I didn't care for the way he did business (file bankruptcy on one property while building another) but it worked for him.. I like that he speaks his mind and doesn't take any chit from reporters but the jury is still way out on actually voting for him.. Mellow

you would actually consider voting for him? I think Obama lowered the prestige and pomp and circumstance of the office in some ways. but trump would turn it in to full on high dollah trailer park.

I honestly don't think the r-pubes (as you called them) or the demo-CRAPS are a solution to our problems. It's just more of the same old, tired song. Point fingers at the other side, all while both sides get rich and we bicker over who is better for the country when, in fact, they're both responsible for our current predicament.

Not one of those rich A-holes give a sh*t about we, the people.

If I had to vote today, Trump would be my pony. Rubio is my guy, but Trump is looking stout.

So why do I like Trump?

He's not a career politician
He doesn't back down when pushed
I love his immigration stance....I don't get to commit crimes. Illegals immigrants are criminals.
He's obviously a very smart man....look at all he's gained in life

Sure I have some concerns, but that's with any candidate.

just to be clear, I wasn't promoting d-craps over r-pubes. Just noting that Trump's actions seem duplicitous...backing Dems and then running as a GOP all while keeping the other49 GOP candidates tied up talking about his hair and stuff.

Double Agent working for the Dems I tell ya.

I voted for him once for Miss America or something, by mistake of course, and only then cuz of his hair, not because of how he answered the difficult question they always ask. I think Miss Rhode Island won that year.

At best, he was 3rd in the swimsuit contest.

Wasn't Jethro a double super secret agent on a Beverly Hillbillies episode?

Interesting that Sharon Tate was in that episode.

Actually, It's not been brazillions. Get your mind out of the gutter.....

http://www.politifact.com/punditfact/statements/2015/jul/09/ben-ferguson/donald-trumps-campaign-contributions-democrats-and/

Since 1989, Trump has given $961,140 to Republicans and $584,850 to Democrats. Most of which went to candidates who ran for offices where he has business interests. In high school we called that "playing the field."

Maybe you're right. I think The Donald's first priority is The Donald. But here's some food for thought for anyone who believes redistribution of wealth is a good idea:

“You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.”

I think Trump would make a good president.

He don't take anyone's chit, and he can negotiate deals.

But more importantly, he might be able to actually get the government running more like a business.

I would hope that if he got in there, and could prove that running the government more economically efficiently, then maybe that would inspire other parts of the government to run more efficiently.

There are too many stupid policies in place that encourage wasteful spending, hopefully a guy like Trump would encourage change in those policies.

One such policy, is if a government division doesn't spend it's entire allocated budget, it's budget will get cut the next time around. This is inherently stupid, because it ensures each and every division will spend all it's allocated money to avoid getting their budgets cut.

Then again, I may be a bit biased, because I'm in Arizona and we have all kinds of border hoppers here.

ah, so you believe he is really running as a republican candidate.

aside from my (sarcastic) assertion that he is really trying to help Dems get elected, I think the smartest biz move he has ever made was to have his father be born first.

TOTALLY TRUE!!!

This asspipe has 2 redeeming qualities. He is NOT a career politician, and he is NOT afraid of the mainstream ass-holes.

I hope he's NOT trying to help them....they've put themselves where they are by straddling the fence on many policies and look @ times just like the democrats.
