Are you talking about the Black Pearl on the end ?

My local had them on his clearance table a few years ago for $20/box, so I took a chance and picked up 4 boxes.

They ain't so bad.

Truth is, I DID, in fact, buy a box of the "re-release" Morados offered up by the mothership. Yes, I drank the koolaid.
I had a feeling, after smoking one, that they were NOT the same cigar.
Then, my good friend, dpnewell, (may he rest in peace), enlightened me.
We all know how THAT story ended !

I DID manage to pick up a few boxes of the OR Morados, (the one in the picture), when a limited supply came up on CBid.
( The old, "We found some stock sitting in a corner of our warehouse" story.)
I GLADLY paid $59.99 per box for the originals.

Ahh jokes on me. Dave, RIP, also RAOK'd me with a couple toro, beli, and robusto. I then went on to buy a few from dublehub and lastly found a complete box of robusto. Still haven't touched the box.

I wish I was around during that sale. Quite the steal.
