Only two good things about this evening: (1) the tasty La Luna Maduro Fuerte and (2) all of the game EXCEPT for the last series of the Cowboys/Cardinals game. Thoughts on either?

I confess, since I was a kid I was a Cowboy's fan, especially during the Landry years, but have really lost interest in the team the past five years. In fact every since Jones took over, the team's integrity has gone to hell. Anyway, that game last night was probably the most exciting ESPN had on its program, traditionally they get the dud games. The Cowboys will get spanked next week, and for those Cowboy haters after the season is half finished it won't even be worth your time to root against them anymore, they will be insignificant and in last place. They won't spark the emotions that followed them in years past, hate or love to indifference.

Well, I've never tried a La Luna M.F.(nor any La Luna for that matter) but I did watch the game. Great game, Opie did a great job at quarterback filling in for Aikman. I thought the offense looked good, until I remembered what a crap defense Arizona has....though I shouldn't take anything away from Arizona's offense and that great come from behinder. Of course the real test will be against Wash. next week. I can only dream of the day when the whole squad will be healthy. Hope it happens before Emmit retires. Barring injury he will play for 3 more.

My Eagles may have lost yesterday, but they did floor the Cowboys last week and for that, I'm happy for the rest of the season ;)

the way the Eagle's look yesterday, that may be their only win of the season, well, maybe two when they play their second game against Dallas. I mean I am bias in favor of Dallas, and even I think they will be rubbish this year, their worst year I predict since the first two years after Landry's retirement. To me Tampa Bay looks like the team to be in the NFC, too early to say, in the AFC.

Man! I should've known I wouldn't get much sympathy for my Cowboys. (Thanks, though, Bill.) They looked REALLY good, IMHO. Randall absolutely gave his heart out there. His are made of brass. He was playing like Favre on Vicodin! Emmitt had a below-average night though. But, alas, an "L" is an "L", any way you look at it. Right, Aberdeen, it was definitely exciting. ANYWAY, I solicited comments on something else, also: I DID enjoy my La Luna MF'er (that's funny, Bill), thanks to the suggestions gained here from my CB friends.

So far, so good for the TB Bucs. However, the La Luna RULES! Have really enjoyed them since finding. Smoked a number of their various sizes. Found a little 4 X 40 that lasts about 20 minutes. Perfect when you don't have a lot of time!

Oh man...after the game on Sunday it looks like another painful season for us Eagle fans. Guess we will be sour "pickle heads" for at least another season. Gotta love that first game however.

Don't give up so soon on the Eagles, we'll pull through this season, my prediction: 11-5, and we'll win the SuperBowl too! If you have a different opinion, remember: Opinions are like @$$h0Le$, everyone has one and they're often full of $h1T. ;) BTW, it pains me to see Randall (most QB guts in the NFL) playing for the Cowboys, it's the one drawback to Aikman's grounding by the PHI defense ;)

Hey, mrdiver, the 4 x 40 you have -- is it a Maduro Fuerte or a Little Havana Blend? What's the name of that particular size? I've only tried the Maduro Fuerte but have heard the LHB's are also good.

LOL! Spoken like a true Philly fan. I haven't given up yet and we've been through some tough seasons. Still early in the season to tell. Guess we should hope the second game was the fluke not the first....When all else fails we still got the #1 cheese steaks!

You do have the best cheesesteaks, but believe it or not, I'm a NY'er! It's nice to see another Philly fan out there though :)

CL-It's the "Colada", in the Maduro Fuerte line. I too have only had the MF line-heard it was the stronger of the two?!
