On Tuesday the Supreme Court halted the execution of a MO many convicted of the murder of 3 people during a convenience store robbery in 1994. They did this so an appeal could be heard that he may suffer undue pain from let hat injection due to a medical condition. Another WGAF moment.

The people he murdered with a hammer, a screw driver and a gun prolly felt lots of pain. I am tired of worrying about criminal rights to the point that victoms become trivialized. This perspective is idiotic.

Cruel and unusual punishment should not apply in many cases like this.

Tony, I do not think the punishment is cruel or unusual. Though if someone is against the death penalty in principle I do see how they would think that.

Hit him with the hammer, stab him with the screwdriver, and shoot him with the gun. He won't feel a thing.

That could be an interesting debate --- I would say not quite.

wheel,

well, sin is a religious definition of certain unacceptable behavior and is not to be confused with the legal system of government.

That said, murder is something I choose not to be part of and that is why I agree with you on Capital Punishment.

wheel,

So, you are equating the killing of an innocent baby with the killing of a person that has taken other's lives? Mostly innocent lives at that.

I don't think the 2 are comparable.

Wheel, you think Ted Bundy, John Wayne Gacy, Jeffrey Dahmer, and Charles Manson didn't/don't deserve the death penalty? I could name many more, but my point is the death penalty serves a purpose. Not to deter others, but to remove monsters from our society. I wish we had no need for the death penalty, but sadly that is not the case.

There is evil in the world and sometimes a human being rips up their "human being" card by ignoring civil society and should be put down like a rabid dog.

9mm to the back of the head - Done. He won't feel a thing. Send the empty casing with an invoice for the cost of the round to his family.

Screw the damn drug company's approval on the use of their products.
