Just to clarify.... Stokes is a Jackson city councilman. Possibly the most dysfunctional city govt. in the US.

I've never witnessed a more racist and ignorant man in my lifetime. Yet he still gets elected.

Search for his "Yo Mama" comments during a city meeting. This will illustrate his character.

He called the Rankin Co Sheriff a "dumb bast.." You should also google what Bryan Bailey, the sheriff, had to say about it. Makes me proud to be from Rankin.

At first I worried this would lead to riots like we have seen across the country. After many Jackson officials have denounced his actions, I think he's about done.

Also see where the Madison Co sheriff has filed criminal charges for threats with the AG's office.

Surrounding county/city officers chase criminals back into his district
He says this is racist since his district is 80% black.

Which is why someone like him, with no leadership skills or common sense (based on his statements) keeps getting elected.

And some folks can't seem to comprehend the racism in that... he is elected, not because he's a good leader, not because he's a sound decision maker... but because he's black, and so are 80% of his constituents... who are voting for him simply because their skin is the same color.
