My problem, Doug, is that I listened to
mjtoal, a brother who knows my palette, and has NEVER steered me wrong when suggesting cigars for me to try. It was he who turned me on to the
Tat Nicaraguan Cojono 2012's, the
Latitude Zero's, and quite a few others.
He once told me that the VSG was the ONLY cigar that ever really kicked his azz, and I guess I took that to heart. I have had a quite a few VSG's gifted to me over the years, but was always afraid that I would not like them, and didn't want to take a chance on wasting such a fine and pricey cigar, so I just passed them along to people who I knew would enjoy them.
When I saw the 05 VSG in the RAOK you sent me, I figured the 10+ years of humi time HAD to have mellowed it out a bit, so I gave it a whirl. GOOD DECISION!
Now I just have to try some that don't have quite that much age on them, to see how they compare.
Thanks again for your generosity !
