Your Perique tolerance is higher than mine.
I've smoked a lot of Virginia-Perique blends, including all three that you mentioned. My issue with all of them is the same ... IMO, C & D tends to go overboard where Perique is concerned.
IIRC, Kickin Chicken was blended for an online group; I thought it was OK at first, but pretty heavy-handed with the perique. It got old in a hurry.
Chenet's Cake I found absolutely unsmokable ... just because you can create a blend that's 1/3 Perique, doesn't mean you should. I never made it past the first bowl.
Of the three, I'd be most likely to smoke Bayou Morning, but I still think it's fundamentally unbalanced. I understand there's a flake now that has even more Perique than the original blend. That I have not tried (and won't).
By way of taste calibration, a few of my favorite VA/Perique blends are Solani 633, Escudo, and McClelland 2015 (if you don't mind a little ketchup ;-).
