Sorry about your troubles Greg. Hope you are getting a good quantity discount from the Drs. Not certain how you are getting banged up but perhaps you need to hang up your cleats and leave the full contact sports to your grandchildren.

Hope for a speedy and successful recovery for you. Be safe my friend.

You will find out when it begins hurting. Could be the first step towards knee replacement.

Bassman, wish you full and speedy recovery.

Growing old is a privilege....but the crap that comes with it sometimes makes you wonder...and that's coming with someone who knows.

Meniscus repair pales in comparison to shoulder surgery. 6 weeks and you'll be good as new!

Best of luck for a speedy recovery. (And try to be careful out there!)

And.....I know Cigar smoking is prohibited in the hospital Shame on you .....but please......please don't try to smoke your thumb.
People will talk....Anxious he

Been there, done that twice...one on each side. Luckily no lower surgeries (...and praying that they never happen...) but don't know if one is "better" than the other...surgeries and rehab all suck!

Hey Bassman,

Hang in there buddy. I lost my brother two years ago to torn meniscus. He fought a good fight and I know you'll do the same. The hair and weight loss and the overwhelming nausea from the treatments were all profound. I'm doing my best to take care of the wife (fortunately hot) and two boys he left behind. Even though the end may be near and inevitable, I'm sure you'll face it with dignity. All these years and we still don't have a cure for torn meniscus. Sad and frustrating.

Love you man.
