WASHINGTON (AP) — Fox News is slamming GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump for his repeated Twitter tirades against anchor Megyn Kelly.


"Donald Trump's vitriolic attacks against Megyn Kelly and his extreme, sick obsession with her is beneath the dignity of a presidential candidate who wants to occupy the highest office in the land," the network said in a statement Friday evening.


The statement from spokeswoman Irena Briganti went on to praise Kelly as "an exemplary journalist and one of the leading anchors in America" and said the network will "continue to fully support her throughout every day of Trump's endless barrage of crude and sexist verbal assaults.'"

The thing I never hear anyone say about MK is that when she does an interview with someone about trump, she has a knack for throwing in a derogative word strategically placed that it is almost not heard. Also, there was a very recognizable tone and attack at trump vs the others in the first debate, right from the start, that set the tone of their relationship on a go forward basis.

I faithfully watch Outnumbered, The Five, Neil Cavuto, Bill O'Reiily and The Kelly File. Bill and Neil are the best IMHO. They at least try to be as fair as possible without the snarky smile and damaging jab the others use in their job.

I did appreciate her makeover after her 2 week sabbatical after the first debate.

The thing about Trump is that he remains true to who he is. You know what you're getting. Many have given advice to Trump over the airwaves on how to succed. Guess what! He wrote the book.

Just my opinion, not looking to change the world.

ps....Also watch Rachel Maddow (msnbc)....she can get extreme at times but her smile makes you ok with it.
