Hello everyone,
This is my first post on this forum. Hopefully you all can give me some good insight!
My dilemma- My humidor, which isn't large to begin with, is completely full. Despite this, I recently decided to order over 60 cigars from various sites and shops and also have a few bundles from friends that all should be arriving in the next few days...
I need a quick option for storage until I can upgrade my humidor. Long-term-I've considered converting an old wooden chest into a humidor (it would hold 400-500 sticks!), but my wood shop skills never advanced past middle school!
Any tips?

So you're low?
Yep, go get a cooler for bulk storage and keep the humidor(s) for short-term use or top shelf cigars.
And NEVER EVER post a picture of a humi less than 105% full. You've been warned.
Check out the N00B threads, the acronym list, and welcome aboard. We're a bunch of immature azzhats here but also some fine BOTL/SOTLs.
Pankcakes or waffles?

Aloha from Hawaii!
Whether you get a cooler, Tupperware or other airtight container, buy some Heartfelt beads and get some Spanish cedar to line your container (...go to your local B&M shpos and see if they'll give you some...).
Have fun and stick around.

^He forgot to say he's low, and you could "Bomb Palama" to ease your storage issues.

How's Hawaii? Might actually go more than two years without some island time for only the second or third time since my first trips there in 89.

or boveda packs.....
old cigar boxes in your cooler or tupperware are nice to segregate your sticks and provide some spanish cedar lining.......
there is also an option of a high tech metal humidor but we are not allowed to talk about it here.

Thanks for the tips, everyone. I ended up going with a 60qt cooler with some boveda packs. Also bought some extra boxes for organization from my B&M. Just in time since most of my orders came in!`

years ago, RFenster taught me that the thickest double zip ziplock freezer bags worked just fine with a small boveda or equivalent tossed into each box of smokes.
He was correct, my aging collection did quite well for several years.
