Well, well, well, yesterday (Friday) I returned from a good day out on the road and found a MFR sitting on my desk. "Hmm, what’s this? I didn't order anything from anybody. No trades going on. Done with the box pass. What da?" Then I looked and saw the name of our one and only SmokeMonkey (...well, his real name, not his handle...). I couldn't figure out why he would send me a box. Unfortunately I couldn't open it right away (...after all, I was at work...) but later on got a chance to cut all the extra strength packing tape to get to the well-protected contents.

A very nice typewritten note explaining the RAOK and the contents was enclosed with the Year of the Monkey 2016 logo serving as the letterhead (...obviously SM is very proud of his simian roots...). Smoke also apologized for the lack of an Alabama-produced back scratcher (...and that's okay, the ones I send out are made in China or Taiwan...). However, who needs a back scratcher when you get the following:

Swag:
Dreamland Bar-B-Que Sauce - 32 oz bottle - nh but Alabama's best according to SM
Smith's Alabama Sunshine Red Jalapeno Hot Sauce - nh and it does have a nice red glow

Smokes (…all nh except for the Don Carlos…) :
A. Fuente Don Carlos Robusto – my very first DC was a Robusto, fond memories
Davidoff Escurio Petit Robusto
Perdomo Cabinet Series Ltd Cameroon Edition Petit Corona
Perdomo Habano Petit Corona Corojo
Perdomo Nick’s Sticks Little Havana Sungrown Toro
Perdomo Patriarch Maduro Lonsdale
Perdomo RTR (SEC-states exclusive)

Thanks again Chris. The sauces will be shared and enjoyed with family and friends and for sure, once the cigars acclimate to Hawaii, they’ll be ashed up with pleasure.

Hope you enjoy all of it. Didn't realize how Perdomo-heavy it was, then I remembered I paid attention to bitola rather than brand.

^About not being an UA fan, no worries there-Dreamland BBQ is the only thing worth a dayum in Tuscaloosa. Was just singing it's praises over the weekend! Well done, SmokeMonkey.

WAR EAGLE (Auburn '88) and

Lol, not an Auburn fan either (half my immediate family pull for the Tide, so I hope they do well - success seems to improve my scoring chances with Mrs. Monkey - but Dreamland is easily my favorite BBQ spot - either in Tuscaloosa or Birmingham.

Nice long distance smacking Mr. Monkey. Gotta love the Dreamland in the package.

And Roll Tide. (Son graduated last year and I do a good bit of work at UA)
Nothing wrong with a War Eagle as well.
