I see these come up on auction from time to time and they tend to go for what seems to me to be a lot of money. Yet, I haven't seen many reviews of these smokes. What are your impressions? Are they worth the money?

I picked one up in a box pass. It was excellent, but I've had others just as good for alot less. What REALLY gets me is the going price on the Graycliffs -- what about these - are they worth the price?

Straight forward classic cigar. Compare to La Aurora, Punch, Henry Clay. Ghurka was too strong for me and left me a little sick. That doesn't mean it's bad for someone else but I noticed nothing distinguished about it and the price does, indeed, look silly.

How about the Gurkha Expedition Line...? I cant find any thing on these.. I see that Cbid seems to have just started auctioning Gurkha's more frequently. Any help is appreciated..

Smoked a little perfecto job just the other night,I think I got it from Keith when I was in Chicago,Ive tried others as well. The ones I've tried don't really do anything for me at all,not bad but pretty one dimensional IMHO. The lil perfectos are just too small for me anyway as they don't really get a chance to get going in the flavor dept. BTW You can't lump these in with Henry Clays,I love the HC broadleafs! LOL

Hmmmmm? Could of swore it was from you in that welcome bag you handed me at the airport when you picked me up.I got it out of the humidor that I brought with me for the Herf.Hell I pretty much cleaned up that weekend anyways, could have came from anybodies stash.LOL....Nah I'm thinking you got these from Greg MtJack right before I showed up maybe in a package that got delivered that same day? They're decent smokes don't get me wrong,I'd just rather smoke an HC.

...tried one (toro size) over the weekend and enjoyed it. Smoked well with a slow, even burn and nice flavor. I can see why they get bidded up sometimes.
