So a little bit of a background. I'm a computer engineer that occasionally likes to play with microcontrollers. My buddy is coming up with a small form factor board and I've been brainstorming with a project to play around with it. So is there an use for an active humidity control?
So for small humidors I'm content with throwing a coupld of Boveda packs, Heartfelt Beads or whatever.
However, for my coolidor, or for cabinet humidors, would an active humidity control system come in handy?
If so, what should be some of the things to look out for?
As a minimum I would want it wifi capable so I can have an app to monitor from some distance. Obviously a form factor is an issue as I don't want to take up too much space in my collider.
What are your thoughts?
Again, I'm not selling a product here but rather would like your opinions for a hobby project of mine.
Thanks.
