I know that many of you guys hate it when I post a rave review of a CBID offering, but tough! ;o)

I like to share with my friends and I now consider you guys my friends. Since I currently have two boxes of these wonderful smokes I thought I would post a little ode to them...actually, the following comment is from another cigar lover on a competing web site...

"This is a very new cigar to my favorites list. In fact, this list may be published before this cigar is even available to the public. However, I would be remiss to not include it. The "HOPT" Maduro is a long, wide Corona with a dark, lush Costa Rican Maduro wrapper. The blend has been jazzed up with additional Esteli Ligero, making this a much spicier cigar than the original blend. The creamy, earthy flavor of the Maduro wrapper, mixed with peppery, lively filler blend, create a wonderful fusion of flavors. In short, I love 'em."

I have to agree with this guy 100%! This is one of the best new cigars I have come across in the last 10 years easy!

CBID puts them up once or twice a month, and I have generally gotten a box of 27 for about $64.00. I hope they start putting more than one or two boxes at a time up for auction!

I am smoking one of these beauties as we speak! It is easliy as good as anything from Padron.

These are the Parejo size which is:

6x44

I am one of those smokers in the bigger isn't better camp. I prefer smaller ring cigars as a rule since the higher combustion temps make for a more complex taste. These do not burn hot at all by the way. Give em a try X! I predict you will fall in love! :o)

I really like these, too. Much better than the regular Mayorga line.

They are an excellent smoke!!..After a good friend sent me like six of them after I wanted to try ONE (Thanks Hendrix!..Hope all is well bro!), I looked on Cbid and won a box for around $40 (if I remember correctly), THEN I forgot that I had another bid in on another Mayorga H.O box auction and won a SECOND box on a different auction ending a few days later for around $50!..so, I had two boxes arrive at my house within a few days..LOL..Great smokes!..Very complex!

40 or 50 bucks for a box of 27 is a steal for these!

The two I bought on CBID both closed at $64.00 and I placed my opening bids less than a minute after they each opened. Still, I would be willing to pay the discount retail price for these if I couldn't get them on CBID. If they offered more than 3 boxes at a time, perhaps one could get them in the 50 buck range now???

Then again, good news travels fast! :o)

GG...since the bid $$ is going to be driven way up after that glowing review, maybe you could send us some samples from your stash to see if they are worthy. If they prove to be up to your review, then we will give you first crack at the next lot. We won't overbid you.

Hee hee..Well as xibbumbero said, the last lot went for under $60.00 so I guess my review didn't have too much of an effect afterall! :o)

Regarding my stash...I don't have that many! LOL!!
