I'll have to re-visit the Perdomo line...it's been a while!!!
And so no longer " on the road " is this a good thing for you or?
I have 35 years in luxury.
Sales, buying, managing, operations, training, marketing and merchandising.
Most of my career has been on the road. Being gone half the year or more has allowed me to visit every state, know my way around most major and many secondary cities.
The majority of my friends are elsewhere...I miss seeing and helping my accounts make sales.
Spoiled life as I could entertain whom I wanted often on the company dime! Yes mr. Comptroller she worked for our account!
So to answer your question no. I'm not happy about it. Wholesale does not value experience and relationships right now. Switzerland thinks youth with their exuberance will save the luxury watch industry. Hi Ho.
Many of my fellow dinosaurs have found themselves put out to pasture as well. Problem is ten years ago I could have picked up an off brand and still been "out there" at least but the industry is shrinking at an alarming rate.
I'm working with one of my prior accounts now, not the same $ but I've got s job. I miss my freedom.....but I have a job and doing fine!
Wow that's a long answer!
