Former Gov. Strickland of OH. keeps it classy by "cheering the timing" of Justice Scalia's death and the crowd he's speaking in front of.....LAUGHS

He's a sack of crap. Almost sank ohio. Spent 1billion of surplus money. Forced many large businesses out/ deterred new businesses through tax practices.

Fortunately he is down big in the polls currently

He said:

“I mean, the death of Scalia saved labor from a terrible decision,” Strickland continued, as his audience clapped and laughed. “And I don’t wish anyone ill, but it happened at a good time, because once that decision had been made it would have been tough to reverse it.”

LOL - The GOP has foot in his mouth Trump as their leader, but we should rage at this????
Talk about grasping at straws.... d'oh!

BTW - he was right.

Democrats and their constant deflection....

Who knew that you'd be right here to give this sack of crap cover.....I never imagined this would happen...Liar
Putting " in print " what he said....takes it completely out of context....in the video's " AUDIO " he's clearly quite pleased about Scalias death and his supporters ( folks like you) are laughing and clapping....DISGUSTING PERIOD

Talk about Classless

Ah, the reek of conservative false indignation.

I would say it is fair to look at his comments and say they were inappropriate or in bad taste, but not if you are Republican. The New GOP loves the politically incorrect. Say anything about anybody – belittle people by race, religion and gender. Encourage violence – and the GOP will cheer!

He did not say “thank god he’s dead”. He said “thank god is influence on the court is dead”.

You guys are worse than a sewing circle….

Well, if you guys would move out of the eighteenth century and lose your phobias you would not need to sniff around in the dirt for something you can fain outrage at.

As it is, looks like you’ve got a lot more whining to do….

I like it just fine here in the Eighteenth or Nineteenth....and you can have your New World Order View of things....this is ALL POLITICAL PANDERING to these little microcosmic groups of " special folks " who use our courts with their ultra liberal judges and you call the rest of us whiners....That's Rich as hell

Special right? Seems to be most of the issues are over equal rights (yes, to some that is "special").

Time marches on, and hopefully so do we. Although there are always folks that go kicking and screaming into the future. Society must progress and improve.

When the US was new, only male land owners could vote. And not all males could own land. But we progressed - kicking and screaming notwithstanding. Women got the vote, open discrimination became a crime, child labor laws got on the books. These of course were the "special rights" of the day.

By the way, this country is supposed to be for everyone, not just us.

Yup and that's exactly why the democrats want to force segregation on us again.

Political pandering is the stock and trade of corporate lobbyist too. So let not act like special interests are rare - they seem to be the majority.

T, you can live in any century you want. Just don't drag us all into the past with you. The good 'ol day's were not always good you know.
