Go to smoke that is always the same - I recommend sticking with staples of the industry(at least as far as I'm concerned. . . )
To me this means Arturo Fuente or Padron. Can't go wrong with a padron and the 3000 series goes for less than $7 per on CI. Arturo Fuente, I personally love the work of arts(the natural wrapper is a good smoke) and they can be had for just under $8 per.
Now, I love the tat PCR, but that is a bit of a fire cracker and may not be up your ally, but I love a good petite corona and this one hits the mark with flavor and cost. . .
Just some of my suggestions. For good consistency though, I find hitting the premium brands but some of their "mid-range" options seems to be a good way to get a very consistent smoke without breaking the bank.
