Trump actually was right and prescient when on the campaign trail... he said many times that a president being investigated can't get anything done...Trump won the election and he IS the President...
I'm sure Hillary would be in the same predicament if she had won ...the House would be holding investigations for the purpose of impeachment, into her emails, Benghazi, her conduct during the campaign, whether Lynch abused her power to help Hillary... the pressure on the House to govern would be off...the clamor to obstruct by the right would be great, just as when Obama was President...the right would be unhinged and insane...and Hillary wouldn't be able to get much done...
...speaking of the House, what legislation have they proposed, passed and sent up to the Senate, besides the AHCA...I'm not complaining too loudly, but it seems that the GOP is squandering a historic monopoly on the power of the federal government...Trump has reversed some Obama stuff and deregulated some stuff by executive orders, but those don't have the permanence of law...
...so, unless something changes soon: add a historic squandering of political power to Trump's legacy...
