Had one try to mess with me yesterday in the Home Depot parking lot.... I was pulling out of my parking spot straight thru the vacant spot in front of me when a pickup pulled right in front of me and tried to force me to back up... I was fully in the parking spot and the only reason I stopped was because I thought the dip-chit was just driving by... We exchanged dirty looks and hand gestures for a minute but I wasn't moving.. I was legally parked and he was in the middle of the driveway.. dip-chit's wife got out and walked in da store.. she never looked at me tho.. I suspect she knew her husband was being a d^ck.. anyways, as I figured he ended up blocking somebody else who was trying to leave so he had to move and I left without incident.. but what an ****.. Shoulda followed her into the store and told her she had nice backside to really fire him off - but then again it's not her fault and she would have had to deal with Napoleon the rest of the day on top of it.

This cracks me up. I once saw two people get into a yelling match over a parking space so they could be closer to the door of a gym. Defiantly a WTF moment. These idiots were both probably going to the gym to work out on a treadmill. horse

Yeah, you can imagine @ only 18 yrs old I was pretty taken aback by it...definitely a first for me. I did begin to carry @ that point and let the offender know as much when I ran into him @ the time clock a night or two later.

All this reminds me of why I hate random a$$holes driving down the road.

Note to self... don't try to steal Paul's parking spot.

LOL;;;

bgz, I was literally in the spot when this little SOB blocked me in and said rather matter of factly stated that was HIS SPOT and I was to move....I replied I didn't see names on any of them and said he should go find another. That is when he reached under his seat and pulled a piece, I moved. A night or two later I simply let him know that would be the LAST time he'd pull that **** with me without repercussions.

Well, I'm glad it never escalated past that.

I usually park far away from other cars in parking lots cause I don't want my car doors beat up, so I'm unlikely to have that happen.

I'll circle till I can find an end spot or somewhere with lots of room.. the spot I was in the Depot was next to a handicap van parking spot so there was lots of room.. still don't have a single door ding on my car.. Mellow

What a dumbass. If he had pulled a gun down here, he would have either shot or been shot.

Lets not ask questions. Like, I dunno... why would you allow a man to pull a gun on you and not call the cops, immediately?

Why was he not arrested for assault with a deadly weapon? Brandishing a firearm?

I'm weird like that. If someone assaults me, I tend to want to see justice served.

No you're right Macs as per usual....I just made that **** up. d'oh!

It was friggin 1980 for chrissakes....pre cell technology and I was 18 years old. Yes in hindsight I suppose I should have reported him Shaun...but I had NO idea who HE was just what he looked like ( a skinny little black bassard ) And I did get justice....in my own sort of way as I never had another run in with the SOB.

You worked in the same place, right? You saw where he parked. Description of the person, car, license plate... where he works. That's plenty to go on.

I'm just saying, I would have reported it.

Man whatever, I guess you could report it to cops but it's better to take the law into your own hands so that they have to fill out less paperwork.

Nah man. Personally, I'm too old for that crap. I wouldn't have yielded an inch but I also would not have even looked at or acknowledged the other party.
