well, you're spot on with your assessment that nobody seems to care ... one of the popular game shows on TV has a host whose pronunciation is so bad, losing contestants are frequently given another appearance because they didn't have a clue what the hell the host was saying ... even in his intro, he tells viewers "we've got another good 'un fer ya ... everybody's here tryin' to win theyself a lotta cayesh" ..
small wonder so many are often wrong anyways ...
