Hello Yall, So i have some Acid 1400cc and Gurkha Private select's, both are in glass tubes. Does anyone know if you freeze them with them unopened or just not worry about it? My biggest fear is those pesty Beetles, my humi is always at 72/62, i cant seem to get either one to move up or down. whats everyone's thoughts on the matter?

No one here will give your question serious consideration because we are snobs and don't feel your cigars are worthy.

So your hygrometer STAYS at 72/62 all the time?
Either you have an incredibly amazingly stable environment for your humi with LOTS of beads, and/or Bovedas, or other media.
Or....
Your hygrometer is wonky.
I would not leave cigars in a freezer for more than a few days......not even sure it would be a good idea with a glass tubo.....condensation, cracked glass, or ??

This is a very true statement.

It is also entirely possible that the OP is trolling......there's just way too much goodness rolled into one post....either way....even if OP is worthy, you're correct that his cigars are not (not to me, anyway.)

If I had a soul, jallen, I'd be sorry.

I don't think beetles would want to eat that chit either.

I completely understand, I cant afford any of the good ones, most of my money goes to my bourbon collection. I rather spend it on my Pappy Van Winkle 23 year's and my bottles of George T Stagg's. Plus those cigars are awesome with a pour of my 2016 old forester birthday bourbon.
Cheers

Put your hygrometer in the freezer and see if it changes and you might want to throw out those cigars.

What a waste of good whisky. Better doesn't always mean more expensive.

Another safer technique for glass tubes is to..........what our experts on this site would say............"Lewinski" them. You need a willing recipient but after 24 hours, all the beetle eggs will be dead. You're welcome.

If they are sealed, the beetles can't infect other cigars, so just leave them be. If you happen to smoke a beetle, who cares. Just my two cents.

I can help you but first you're gonna need some gasoline and a match.

I am sorry but if you can afford PVW 23 then you sure as shizz can afford a couple hundred on a box of cigars, then again if your masking the taste fo cigars with PVW 23 then maybe it is not the cigars that are not worthy.
