... so.... dude's in trouble for what appears to be a penchant for young girls you say?

Well let's just put him in close proximity with a young girl!

Do you realise that the fallout from the scandal that occurred three decades ago resulted in everyone involved with anything regarding minors in the Catholic Church requires each participating individual to be subject to a background check and mandatory training regarding protecting children? We have seen a major increase in the number of people involved within the community and I think that's a good thing.

So if he was accused of harassing women of legal age, would you want to ban all women reporters?
And we shouldn't stop with Moore.
Get all the broads out of the white house, congress, hollywood and famous chef restaurants.

And here in Massachusetts they'd have to forbid male reporters on Beacon Hill because the gay senate president's husband has been groping for trouser snakes in exchange for promised support from hubby.

Nope.
Too limiting.

Besides. The girl is 12.
Moore is accused of accosting teens. So she has a year...

Heh.... I suppose she's safe for a minute or two.

But seriously... adults is one thing, they are actively walking into a situation they are forewarned about (by the fact there is a story). This is a child who is being put in the presence of an accused pedo (and definitely creepy guy) by decisions her parents are making. We have no idea if she understands the risks associated (and given that she's likely been coached by her parents to believe he's definitely innocent, she's likely already been primed to believe anything he says).

On the flip side, I have to give her parents credit. That's definitely an example of putting your money where your mouth is....

Accused. With no evidence. Have any charges been filed? Any investigation started? Or are you basing everything you think about him on the accusations alone?

You cannot blame Victor, he has that fact allergy condition. LOL

That said, I would question the idea of doing this, innocent or not.

This happened in March 2017, to the best of my knowledge there had been no public allegations at that time.

Spey... girls name is march. The interview was put up on sunday... no word as to when it was taped.

MACS/ gene don't get your panties in a bunch. I said accused not convicted feel free to reread my post and post your sincere apology... :) This isn't a court of law and I don't have the power to put him in jail. I think a good rule of thumb though should be if you're not willing to leave a politician alone with your 15 year old daughter you probably shouldn't elect him to senate...

He will never be convicted and honestly I don't think he should be convicted. But thay doesn't mean he should be a senator or a high school gym teacher.

You stopped at the first sentence, read the second one, it's quoted below and highlighted the, "innocent or not" part. Especially since I was, in a roundabout way, agreeing with your OP.

I read your second sentence gene... I was just pointing out I have said nothing factually inaccurate.

But those panties you are wearing are a very nice lavender.

But you always say that.

You are peeping in da wrong windows. I am pretty sure if you saw me in my tighty whites you would be screaming for eye bleach, needing mental trauma therapy and thinking that thong'tater picture really wasn't so bad after all.

I have nothing to apologize for.

But here's something for you to ponder... what if a woman came forward and said you had sexual relations with her while you were in college and she was only 15 and the media started running with it... but it was 10+ years ago?

How the hell are you going to prove your innocence? The yearbook writing was proven false, was it not? Doesn't that make the whole thing look just a bit contrived?

I don't think so....It is darned near impossible to get ground truth out of anyone on the stupid yearbook.....but,
after reading a few different spins and listening to a number of 'news people'...

it is my understanding that the note AND signature were made by Moore....that the girl added a date and 'location?' below the signature,

Entire inscription:
"To a sweeter more beautiful girl I could not say Merry Christmas. Christmas 1977. Love, Roy Moore, DA. 12-22-77 Olde Hickory House"

I don't know if the "DA" was by Moore or the girl

We're splitting hairs here (insert puberty joke here).

What Moore did may or may not have been illegal. I don't know Alabama law today, never mind in the mid '70s.

But one of his initial quotes had something to do with "always getting parental permission" before dating these girls.
The guy was in his 30's.
And he's asking permission to date.
Because of their age.

Who said chivalry is dead?

MACS... you're missing a few things.
1 - the yearbook wasn't proven forged (as dstieg pointed out). Only conservative "news" sources ran with that. She noted the date in her handwriting... strange but very far from forging the creepy note and sig.
2 - this is more than 1 person making the accusation. You're right... any of us would be screwed if one person made that claim. But it likely requires poor behaviour on your part if there are 4 or 5 people making that claim (or a deep state conspiracy where evwryobe can keep a secret... if you want to go all dumb azz alex jones on it)
3 - and again... we're not even talking college to high school (questionable... but at least only one life experience separating them).... what guys have you ever known in their 20s or older who thought 15 year olds were attractive? I met one guy who in his mid 20s was talking about how he thought braces were hot. I never interacted with him again. That **** isn't acceptable.

Fox retracted the yearbook forged thing but the other alt right sites didn't and it lives on as something that will be forever true to some people. I was listening to the radio and it's still being presented that way by some.

The yearbook neither proves or disproves anything.

We've devolved into picking a side up front and defending or believing anything that side says no matter how much you must suspend reality to do so. Anyone who doesn't suspend reality is quite simply on the other side.

Did a con actually believe something that the fake media has been reporting on incessantly? And then passed it on to a con, who then changed his mind? OMG...
