The Senator adds that he is a Trump supporter, but believes in the Madison checks and balances thingy.

edit: fixed the link

it defies logic that this guy could possibly be under consideration.

it defies logic that no one wants to step up and agree.

You sure that's the right video, frank? Not complaining...it's hot ...

but not exactly a judicial nominee getting grilled publicly and humiliated by his own lack of preparation by someone supposedly on his side...he couldn't answer the most basic and fundamental questions about judicial procedures...smh

The poor slob with a law degree is just the latest in a line of unqualified and clueless Trump nominees... so many have been withdrawn that this spectacle is no longer noteworthy or unusual...definitely a reflection of the man who put him in that position...

I think that the basic problem is that they are finding it hard to find qualified people who want to work in this administration. fog

perhaps not exactly a MrJones-esque squirm couch, but I thought the Senator handled exposing the deficiencies of the candidate with old style diplomacy.

I don't automatically reject all things GOP.

That was a hilarious questioning sessesion...

He was on a "passive aggressive squirm couch"...
Which is different than "under a hot lamp" one.

I will say one thing, the Ky guy did keep his composure,
And the Cheeto nominee has as much legal experience as I do...
And I dont have a legal degree like he does.

Did the guy volunteer? If not, then the one doing the squirming should be the one who nominated him.

He's already withdrawn from consideration

Yes but many in here voted for him and he is now our President so we need to give him a chance.

He's pretty much the last guy whose radar you want to pop on. He's been like this for years. He gave Bobby Jindal fits. He is pretty much a non nonsense budget hawk who walks to the beat of his own drum. Look for him to position himself as a candidate in the 2024 Presidential election.
