The topic question and post question are not the same. Are you wanting to know about shipping length or if the items are all just clearance from the store? Only one question is permitted per topic so it stays on track.... forum rules I guess.

To answer the question about why shipping takes so long since that is what is posed as the topic, my guess is that if you moved closer to Pennsylvania it would get to you a bit faster.

I personally have no issues with shipping but there are many topics that do cover this question and a quick search will net those answers, which is why you are getting all the 'tongue in cheek' responses.

Please keep in mind that this particular question has been asked on a near weekly basis for the last 9 months since the meltdown early 17 so answering the same question over and over to every NOOB that doesn't take the time to do a quick forum search is very tedious to regulars. It has become much more fun to just pizz off those that ask.... A wealth of knowledge is already available on most any forum for basic questions. I honestly didn't check that you weren't the OP but most go away without any followup. Since there was followup I threw a bone.

Please also keep in mind that I have no idea what questions have been asked on a near daily basis and the FAQ just doesn't cover all these Qs...I mean, I have some questions that may have been asked before, but am frankly, afraid to ask them because of this very attitude...does it really bother you to see a question that most noobs would ask? Weren't we all at this point sometime? I expect this kind of "kidding around" in the other non-Cigar Discussion forums like "General"..but thought this would be where you go to get a straight forward answer...not be mocked like the "new kid at school"

Yes - seeing the shipping question come up every week when the simplest search would yield the answer pizzes us off to the point of getting the responses you have been getting. We don't have to cater to every question as a good botl because noobs are too lazy to search.

I got harassed for the same thing when I started on here. You aren't the only one, if that helps. ha

After someone told me for the 5th time to search things on here first, I did just that. It helped some. The only problem is sometimes it is hard to find answers that way. When I can't find the answer I just ask it anyways and laugh at the moronic comments. Usually after the first 20 or so comments, you start getting some real answers.

Don't get discouraged, grow thick skin and have fun.

BTW -- there a quite a few active cigar forums.....some more active than others.....all others are more heavily moderated....and all others are better sources of cigar information....this is our playground for scratching our balls and poking other guys in the eye.....most of us don't even smoke cigars

Now it's time for the real answer. First they have to process your order along with hundreds of others, the they need to find and pick the cigars for each order. Once the available cigars are pulled , they are carefully packed in a box with packing materials to keep them safe during shipment. The cigars that were not to be found are reported and listed as backordered on the invoice- customer service gets a copy of those and uses the paper for napkins at their cupcake parties from all the cupcakes Victor sends them to keep them from banning him. UPS arrives and the warehouse and rolling carts of packages are wheeled to the trucks and loaded on board. Of course I left a few minor things out which are really quite obvious. UPS then ships them to their closest location to where the packages must go. Then, either UPS takes them to the nearest post office facility or the post office picks hem up. They then go in with all the other pachages at the post office and go out for delivery. If you don't like the time this all takes, you can drive to Pennsylvania and buy them at the CI store or go online and order them from CI or Cigar.com or Pipes and Cigars and pay a higher price.

What kind of car do you drive ? Do you prefer pancakes or waffles ?

Oh that blows!!!

I'm had been waiting for 3 boxes that were coming through Panama (if you know what I mean) After 6 weeks, they actually called me and said they didn't make the plane due to the holiday shipping craziness. I said I would wait another 2 weeks. After 2 weeks they called again!!! Informing me this time that they were officially "lost" and that they would reship the order. Just got USPS tracking this morning that they are to be delivered on the 23rd!
