In all likelihood these people were once happy kids. So, given what we know about them now, if we'd the option, when they were still in the womb should they have been aborted? *guessing you said no there cause babies are more valuable than grownups, right? * cabbage now
Most cities have limited bus and train routes to their neighboring suburbs. The homeless are essentially trapped in urban areas. They have no insurance and depend on Medicaid/Medicare which is readily accepted at county (urban) hospitals. Also, city cops are more tolerant than suburban cops. So your suburb is safe. Take a deep breath.
Finally, is your reasoning so simplistic (aka Trumpian) that you actually think anything short of opening my doors to homeless folks makes it hypocritical for me to post an excerpt from A Christmas Carol signifying my sentiments? And btw, do you really have No compassion for these sick/destitute people? Again, your choice.
So my volunteering at soup kitchens, mentoring kids, and charitable donations don't count. Wait! You're not homeless, are ya?..Maybe I should reconsider...?...ok, nah. *locks door
Yeah, I don't know how to solve homelessness but I DO know it's not simple (Trumpian) and I sure as hell know I don't want YOU in charge of it especially now as I hear the actual gas chambers from Auschwitz are on sale at Ebay.
I'd say on the whole that very much depends on the city....some have little tolerance @ all.
Ever wonder why soup kitchens can't be manned by those who benefit from them?? I have.
You socialists always trying to somehow prove " your more caring and sensitive " Stop with the hand outs and give them some qualifications to land a JOB. Don't tell me none of these people you defend cannot WORK
