As I said in the other thread, I don't know you, your friend or if this cigar is authentic or not. For a small photo on a notebook computer screen, the band looks ok - but that alone should not be taken as definitive.
Maybe your friend is exaggerating the price, or can't remember it, or just got taken for an expensive ride.
Not saying that is the case here, but keep in mind that cigars can be rebanded to make them appear as something else. Do the measurements check out? Ring gauge can be up or down by a little bit (1/64 to 2/64 ish) as the cigars age and swell or shrink a tad.
If you haven't smoked a Cohiba, a Behike in particular, you wouldn't know what they are supposed to taste like. The hype would make one think it is impossible but I've actually had some pretty raunchy tasting authentic Cuban cigars, and they weren't Guantanameras or J.L. Piedras. I've also had some really good tasting fakes, so go figure.
