Can't turn your back on a grandpa...I responded to Jespear's post about the new line of CAO Amazon Basin...he said they are excellent, but they were already sold out. No worries...said I'll keep my eyes open for another chance to grab a few when they're up at the discounted price...
Damm ... the mailman dropped a load on my porch today...from Jespear. I was speared!!! He sent a sampler of the CAO Amazon line for me to try...along with a "few" other goodies:
CAO Amazon Basin toro
CAO Amazon Anaconda toro
CAO Amazon Fuma En Corda robusto
Ashton VSG belicoso
Cupido Crillo Dobre perfecto
Cupido Tuxedo torpedo
Fuente Anejo 46
Fuente Casa Cuba Divine Intervention
JdN Antano Dark Corojo
La Perla Habana Black Pearl, OR torpedo with the purple cloth band
Can't wait to try the Amazons, wrapped in a unique and rare Brazilian tobacco, each with rope bands.
The others are all great cigars, among my all-time faves. Jespear recommended the Casa Cubas and Cupido Tuxedos several years ago and I'm grateful whenever he shares his opinions because we seem to have similar tastes in cigars.
To ensure the cigars arrived safe and intact he packaged them nicely and cushioned them with four TastyKake pies (cherry, peach, cherry cheesecake and banana creme -- my daughter confiscated those)...and a 6 pack of soft Philly pretzels (my wife grabbed those and thanks you).
This was quite a surprise, on a relatively quiet day babysitting my grand-daughter...Jespear's note mentioned how cool it is to be a grand pa...yes it is, Sir.
Thank you very much for your thoughtfulness, John.
